I have used many English proofreading services, but Wordvice seems to offer fast service at a reasonable price. Their English proofreading is not just simple typo correction; they also restructure sentences for clear meaning and provide kind explanations. I believe they offer great proofreading services at an affordable price.

How important do you think essays or SOPs are for acceptance?
In the fields of International Affairs and Public Policy, SOPs generally require anywhere from 2 to 4-5 pages, so SOPs are quite important. They don’t just look for content not found in the resume, but also the student’s specific first-hand experiences, accomplishments, and even writing skills. Therefore, I think a lot of time should be invested in the SOP.
What did you like about Wordvice?
First of all, since I have no overseas living experience and am purely domestic, there were expressions and hyphen usage errors that I couldn’t catch no matter how much I googled. Wordvice caught all those errors, which made my essay more polished. In addition to expressions, they also looked at the overall structure and logic of the writing, and sometimes gave in-depth reviews like 'It would be better to change the paragraph in this direction,' which helped improve the content quality of the essay. Especially, they also commented on well-written paragraphs, so I was able to understand how to write essays that American schools like. Lastly, the speed of the review and reasonable pricing were also big advantages.
Would you be willing to recommend it to people around you?
Yes, I am willing to recommend it and have already suggested it several times to friends preparing for graduate school or overseas employment. In Korea, after graduating from university, there are almost no reliable places to get essay reviews, so I think Wordvice is a place verified by experts not only for reasonable pricing but also for quality.

Do you think it is better to have your application documents proofread in English before submission? Why?
Yes, proofreading greatly improves the content and wording of the application essay, which can increase the chances of acceptance.
If you were to share your study abroad application process with others, what would you suggest to them?
Prepare early and seek professional assistance.
Would you recommend Wordvice's services to others?
Yes, Wordvice's proofreading and editing service is professional and they always deliver the edited documents on time.

Do you think it is better to revise your application essays before submitting them? Why?
I believe it is very necessary. Because the application essay is an important window for admissions officers to understand your personal background, academic ability, and future potential. Even if you check it repeatedly yourself, there are inevitably places where the logic is unclear, the expression is not natural, or the structure is not reasonable enough. Through Irwin's polishing, the essay can become clearer, more professional, and more persuasive, and it can also avoid misunderstandings caused by grammatical errors or cultural differences.
If you were to share the study abroad application process with others, what advice would you give them?
I would suggest everyone start preparing as early as possible and leave enough time to refine every piece of material. Especially the essays—don't just write one version and submit it. You can first write a draft yourself, then ask experienced people or professional services to review and polish it. Additionally, tailor your essays for different schools and programs, rather than using 'one essay fits all.' Finally, maintain patience and confidence mentally; the application process requires time and effort, but every bit of hard work will be reflected in the final result.
Would you recommend Wordvice's services to others?
Yes, because through Wordvice's proofreading and editing service, I ultimately received an offer from the University of Hong Kong. Editor Irwin was very professional, not only correcting grammar and expression issues but also helping me optimize the article's structure and logic, making my personal statement clearer and more persuasive. Without this polishing, my application result might have been completely different. I sincerely recommend Wordvice.

You were accepted to a prestigious overseas university. Could you share some tips?
I received a lot of help writing my Personal Statement during the initial admission process. Since it was my first time writing a self-introduction in English, I paid a lot of attention to the structure and flow of the writing. Through two-person editing, I received detailed feedback on the structure, which helped me write a more stable essay. As I aimed to create an even more complete and higher-quality essay, there were many additions and changes, but each time I was able to go through the final proofreading process with Wordvice, which helped me complete a confident essay.
What did you like about Wordvice?
Even after proofreading, I asked questions about the corrections and was really surprised by the quick responses. This helped me complete my writing quickly and apply, for which I am very grateful. I have used other proofreading sites before, but I have never experienced such a systematic system, fast proofreading, prompt and detailed feedback after proofreading, and affordable cost as with Wordvice.
Would you be willing to recommend Wordvice to people around you?
I have used Wordvice proofreading and editing services a total of five times. Considering that I trusted and used proofreading five times throughout the admission process, I think Wordvice gave me a lot of trust. I will likely use it a lot during my student life in the UK as well. I am really happy to have found a proofreading site that can be a great help during the difficult study abroad life. I sincerely thank all the people involved once again.
