The correction was well done but the communication with you was rather bad! If you don't add the button 'Click to Reply' in your email all correspondence failed and this was really a pity! It should be added to every email to avoid such problems!

I needed corrections to a research paper. My professor said the content was great however, the organization and the flow of the paper required significant improvement from my first draft. I was apprehensive about using an online proofreading service because I don’t really know anyone who has. However, I was really tight on time, and I found Wordvice. My editor Candace W. was assigned to my paper based on her specialty in medical research sciences. I really like that she offered really helpful tips and adjustments to my paper, but allowed me to make the ultimate decision on what I included in the final draft. She was careful to give me the choice and really sought to maintain the integrity of my work. She was meticulous and still returned the paper on time. She also provided explanations on why certain choices would improve the flow of the paper and what was grammatically incorrect. I received an A grade and will be submitting soon for publishing. They actually introduced a lot of mistakes, missed errors or often just reworded things. For example it was clear that the whole section had to be written gender neutral instead the editor (Sarah B) assumed a random gender and revised it all. Probably will look somewhere else to see if I find a better service.

The service was awful. The first time I submitted a case report for review, I asked for AMA format, but the comments about how the standard formatting was chosen makes the editor come off as sloppy and negligent. Why ask for the preferred format if you are not going to use it? I then resubmitted the case report for more editing with more specific instructions on which part needed word combination and section editing,, but the response reflected sloppiness.
